1968 Jeepster Half-Cab Commando
One of the 1,713 original Half-Cabs made in 1968, without any rust at all. The little pickup design provides a great cargo area. The top is attached by a handful of bolts, and can be removed within minutes. The 225 CID, Dauntless Buick V-6 lives up to its name, and fires right up in any weather. It has a three speed manual transmission, hooked up to a two speed transfer case, which all work great. All of the original lights and gauges work perfectly!.

Changed and new items: Adapted with a paper element air filter, which is less restrictive than the original oil bath air filter. It looks original, and the truck will come with the original oil bath air filter. New fuel sending unit, and fuel pump, supplying the original rebuilt carburetor. New plugs with wires, starter, ignition coil, and battery. New shocks and a new clutch linkage which works better than original cable. Dana 44 rear end (better than the original Dana 30), and Dana 30 front end (better than the original Dana 10). The problem here is that the gear ratios do not match (3.73 in the rear, and 4.27 in the front). The ring and pinion gears are available to correct this from JEGS for $185.
